Working and being in the "field" is what provides me (and apparently Frances Beinecke) the connection with the reality of environmental cause and affect. The message of protecting the environment should be delivered at the most basic level - healthy habitats. The connection between living clean and green connects so directly to a clean and green exterior environment that the association cannot go unrecognized. I applaud Ms. Beinecke's and the NRDC's efforts regarding the advancement of green building environments.
